Event Overview
General Data Protection Regulation or GDPR will involve everyone in school to some degree. The aim of this workshop is to raise awareness of GDPR and how it applies to you in your role as part of the school’s administration team.

Who should attend?

  • School Secretaries,
  • School Principals/Deputy Principals,
  • BOM members

Learning Outcomes
By the end of this training, participants will:

  1. Get an introduction to the GDPR.

  2. Practical understanding of the obligations and legal requirements for schools to become GDPR compliant.

  3. Reinforce staff awareness of the GDPR, how it impacts on the school and what the school is doing to ensure that it is GDPR compliant.
