Event Overview
The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) impacts everyone in a school setting, to some degree. The aim of this workshop is to raise awareness of GDPR and how it applies to you in your role within the school.

Learning Outcomes
By the end of this training, participants will:

  1. Participants will gain an clear understanding of GDPR requirements concerning data breaches and Data Subject Access Requests, including the timelines, documentation, and communication processes. 

  2. Participants will learn to identify and respond to data breaches, including containment, risk assessment, notification procedures, and preventive measures to mitigate future breaches.

  3. Participants will acquire practical skills for managing Data Subject Access Requests ensuring timely responses, accurate data retrieval, and compliance under GDPR regulations.
