A school in County Clare has been given the green light for significant enhancements from the Clare County Council planning department.
St Tolas National School in Shannon has been granted planning permission for a single-storey development to the existing school, which will give the school room for additional special educational needs classrooms.
The Board of Management of St Tola’s National School applied for planning permission on May 27, with the plans stating that this would accommodate two additional classrooms, which will be used for pupils with special educational needs.
